Summary: Wind River Family & Community Health Care is seeking applicants for the position of Security Guard. Wind River Family & Community Health Care provides ambulatory health care for the service population of the Wind River Reservation. The Security Guard serves as a member of the clinic team, based at the Wind River Family & Community Health Care Center, located in Arapahoe, Wyoming.
The candidates’ primary responsibility is to help to provide a safe a secure environment for the clients and staff of the Wind River family and Community Health Care clinics, and monitor and be alert for ongoing situations within the clinic and on the grounds of the various clinic locations.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Monitors the identification of individuals entering controlled areas; refers person who lack proper credentials to a control point to arrange access.
Checks alarms, locks, fences gates or other barriers, patrols perimeters and clinics, outside the buildings and surrounding grounds to prevent theft or damage.
Performs coordinating duties involving passing of information to Law Enforcement officers coordinating emergency responses between security, fire and other emergency units. Performs emergency duties when required.
Communicates with all areas of the clinic and personnel in order to receive relevant data and instructions.
Maintains professional behavior and attitude in regards to customers, visitors and co-workers
Prepares various written reports such as accident or incident reports, complaints, witness statements and unsafe conditions of materials or locations and personal property.
Capable of understanding and following directions, and the ability to read and use maps, both paper and electronic

Current CPR and First Aid Certification
Current and valid State of Wyoming drivers’ license
Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening
Must be insurable: i.e. no DWUI convictions within the last five years
Provide a current 5 year DMV printout for violations

The incumbent must maintain strict confidentiality and high ethical standards in performing the position. The incumbent needs to be respectful, possess cultural awareness and sensitivity, be flexible, and demonstrate sound work ethics.
