It would sure seem to me that the first couple of paragraphs of this article says all anyone needs to know about this whole fiasco councilman Al Addison is facing. For all those calling for his suspension without pay, I suggest you read this article. There’s a lot more to this than many of you know. If you want to listen to anyone, it should NOT be the business council or our law firm, it SHOULD be this Federal District Court Judge. After all, he has no skin in this fight. He’s the one who heard the evidence presented so if you want to listen to someone that knows more than anyone else, listen or read what he has to say.
Honestly sounds like pointing fingers with no proof, but honestly who can buy a brand new truck during a global shut down, Not Al, seems they looking for a fall guy, why now with these certain officals, is it possible since he been helping our tribe for years with out accusations, and this newly elected members just see dollar signs?
It’s everywhere out here and they seem to keep getting better and higher jobs how bout the one who paid his mortgage out of the tribes money while in finance and now what job does he hold ??? It’ll never stop
Responses here are very sad. Hes an Elder of the tribe and very respected. I will not speak bad about him..I was broke down coming from Oregon cause my step daughter had a leg amputated..He came and got us. Please dont speak Ill of him until there is proof or a reason to. Makes me so sad. Carry on everyone.
On Paid administrative Stop 🛑 that SHIT ..... Ripping us off and now your allowing his guilty behavior... SHAME ON YOU TOO...🤬
Luckily i lived in Vegas during national finals rodeo, wow you should of seen how drunk, and how many family members they took, one of our leaders didnt even remember seeing me, so drunk security had to escort the person to the room, and another situation that happened because of the person they took. Reminds me i wonder if i still have the pics of them all drunk at the conference that our tribe paid for. Unlike the accusations on this post i actually seen all this first hand., what happens in vegas dont stay in vegas
Un paid leave would of been better! Fuck the "paid administrative leave"
So to hell with General Council huh?? Only we The People can make decisions like this..
He should be suspended without pay pending investigation outcome! Not paid leave!!!
Where is the Resolution that says Business Council Has this Authority?
Its weird he not the one driving new cars, could it be they all need a fall person of what they took, since they have no proof, hmmm since the tribe is broke? Seems they trying to frame some one for their spending, is it true they cant pay the tribes bills?
And yet he not the one driving a brand new truck.
Yes what resolution were used?
What a joke. This isn't being taken care of properly. He should be held accountable and not be still getting paid. This is aggravating 🤬
Hopefully WITHOUT pay!!!
WHY is he on PAID leave??????
R u seriously still going 2 pay him
Lock. Him. Up. 👏👏
Seriously.!!! I Wouldnt Hire Tribes Attorneys Either..
Press charges!! Have him arrested. He is NOT above the law!! Hold him accountable!
Seriously? Paid for all that? What a joke 😂 🤡
Lmfao. Oh Krey Returns To War talking about Kim... she didn't attempt to cash anything... she ripped that check up in their faces... don't deflect... it looks bad. How much did Al get away with?
Suspend pay until he returns tribal funds and listed items. Maybe that’ll help get the needed response.
Today, the Northern Arapaho Business Council regrets to announce the passing of another one of our own tribal Members due to COVID-19. Our beloved Tribal Member was a well-respected and loved elder who committed her life to our Creator. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who exemplified that love, comfort, peace, and caring to all of our people. She was very devoted to our Creator and her family.
Chairman Lee Spoonhunter said all Northern Arapaho people mourn the loss of one of our own.
“This virus has taken so much from us, and every death leaves a hole in our Tribe that cannot be filled,” Chairman Spoonhunter said. “On behalf of the entire Business Council, we grieve for the victim and pray that our Creator help ease the pain of her family and friends.”
In order to limit the spread of COVID-19, a stay-at-home order remains in effect for all Tribal members and residents of the Wind River Reservation. Chairman Spoonhunter urged the Arapaho people to continue to observe all health guidelines. That includes avoiding gatherings and wearing a mask or cloth face covering when in public, particularly when social distancing is not possible.
“We all have a role to play in fighting COVID-19,” Chairman Spoonhunter said. “By following the public health guidelines, we can protect our community – especially our elders and others who are most vulnerable” ... See MoreSee Less

Will these services be available for college students as well?
The COVID19 money was based on total enrollment numbers of our tribe. On and off the rez. So services should be available to all tribal members based on the award?
So happy for the children! What a wonderful presentation💕
Does this also apply to the children who are from out of state??
What if you're about to start school and you know beforehand they won't provide?
Is this available for enrolled members who live off the reservation?
What if you’re not enrolled but your child is?
Will this be available to enrolled students who live out of state?
Will it be available for out of state children?
That's awesome WB the children who live out of state ? Do they fill out an application?
Carol Hooxei Hesinee for the kids?
Blaine Yellowfox Sr.
Leslie Ann Monroe
I'm hoping this will be available to out of state children as well..I have 4 children who will be in virtual learning&they're not happy about it AT ALL but I choose my childrens health over everything! Especially if my youngest child's life&health depend on it! Waiting to hear more feedback on this matter🗣
