Position: Vocational Rehabilitation Project Administrator

Vocational Rehabilitation Project Administrators are responsible for the direction, planning, and organization of vocational rehabilitation field services programs.  They supervise subordinate supervisors and are responsible for setting and controlling a budget.

·Provides training and consultation to rehabilitation counselors in regard to the rehabilitation process, policies and regulations, eligibility, goals, employment outcomes, diagnostics, comprehensive assessments, job development, employer contacts, placements, and closures.

·Conducts evaluations and statistical analysis of the programs, tracking and reporting results on performance standards and indicators.

·Develop, negotiate and monitor contracts and agreements.

·Conducts quality reviews and audits to ensure they are meeting Federal requirements.

·Responsible for program budget, reviewing, monitoring and controlling expenditures.

·Participates on tribal management team for strategic planning, analyzing program performance, identifying strengths and weaknesses, recommends and implements changes, evaluates effectiveness.

·Evaluates and performs case record reviews of consumer files

·Manages the reservation service area for delivery services.

·Develops, evaluates and implements plans to meet federal and agency goals and mandates.

·Develops and interprets policy and procedures to provide required services and benefits for achievement of established goals, outcomes, and the division mission.

·Recruits, interviews, hire, and fire employees (pending Arapaho Business Council approval).

·Performs annual reviews of employees, takes action as needed.

·Prepares annual and semi-annual reports for RSA.

·Review consumer grievances.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (typically in Social Services)

PLUS

Experience: 3-5 years of progressive work experience (typically in Vocational Rehabilitation) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Vocational Rehabilitation Supervisor

OR

Education & Experience Substitution:

6-8 years of progressive work experience (typically in Vocational Rehabilitation) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Vocational Rehabilitation Supervisor

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certified Rehabilitation Counselor
