Salary: $150.00/ Week
Hours: Two hours evening session once/week x forty weeks; other hours as necessary for specialized meeting, individual recording, editing, and planning.

The digital recording consultant will be hired as a consultant and will record all classes and activities of the Beehiitowono’ Master Apprentice Program. The digital recording consultant will be provided an honorarium for each weekly class. Responsible for recording historical context as told by our elders. Responsible for creating traditional cultural education modules. The digital recording consultant will edit and prepare videos to be broadcast on our website, on certain social media platforms, and possibly local TV channels. The digital recording consultant will attend each weekly meeting and record all activities throughout the Beehiitowono’s grant project
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital recording consultant will be responsible for recording all classes during the year and creating Arapaho language videos. Also responsible for recording elders 1:1 to capture historical content and traditional stories. Must be set up before each weekly class. Responsible for editing videos and creating traditional cultural education modules. Family language immersion classes will be held once/week at Wind River Tribal College in Ethete and Arapaho Immersion Preschool in Arapahoe, on a rotating basis.
Meetings, Reports and Other:
Provide guidance on the purchase of necessary studio recording equipment. Meet with the Project Director and elders for planning, organizing, and preparing for weekly family language immersion classes. Prepare necessary reports as required. Work closely with the Project Director to assure desired results are achieved.
III. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Experience and technical skills in audio and video recording, and ability to utilize the digital audio/video workstation. Experience in editing audio and video recordings. Communication, computer, interpersonal and promotional skills can also be helpful. Must have the ability to complete recording and production tasks in a timely manner.
