Wyoming Region 5 (Fremont and Sublette Counties and the Northern Arapaho and Eastern Shoshone Tribes of the Wind River Reservation) are in the process of finalizing an update to their Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan. The plan identifies natural and human caused hazards that can impact the area, including floods, winter storms, wildfires and more. As part of this process FEMA requires coordination outreach to the public and stakeholders who have an interest in mitigation planning in Region 5.
