Arapaho Tribe Department
The Northern Arapaho WIC is a specialized tribal nutrition and support program on the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming that provides healthy food, counseling, and health referrals at no cost.
Who It Helps
- Pregnant women
- New mothers (up to 6 months postpartum if not breastfeeding, or up to 1 year if breastfeeding)
- Infants up to their first birthday
- Children from age 1 up to their 5th birthday
- Healthy food benefits via an eWIC card for approved grocery items
- Nutrition education and personalized counseling sessions
- Breastfeeding support, including peer counseling and lactation consultations
- Referrals to local medical, dental, and social services
